The anticoagulant warfarin (Coumadin), sometimes called a blood thinner, can stop harmful blood clots from forming or growing larger. But it's important that you get regular blood tests while taking these medications in order to prevent bleeding and to optimize efficacy.

Our Anticoagulant Therapy Services

Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional's Antithrombosis Clinic offers convenient, high-quality monitoring and management of warfarin (Coumadin), as well as bridging therapy with injectable anticoagulants.

Our pharmacists are certified anticoagulation providers, and we are the only pharmacist-managed anticoagulation clinic in the Cape May County area.

Fast and Coordinated Care

When you come into the antithrombosis clinic, you'll be seen within 5 minutes of your appointed time. If you need an adjustment in your medication dose, our pharmacist will be able to help you with that right away.

Your primary care physician will also receive our notes and the results of your test that same day.

Ask your Physician for a Referral

Our services do require a physician's referral. Call 609.463.4272 for more information or to request that we fax a referral form to your doctor.

We offer Saturday appointments for your convenience.
