About Me

Prior to coming to Cooper as one of the founding members of the Department of Neurosurgery, Dr. Turtz was Chief of the Neurosurgical Service and Medical Director of the Neurosurgical Critical Care Unit at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He has dedicated his career to the clinical care of patients and education of medical students and neurosurgical residents. He is a general neurosurgeon focused primarily on cranial surgery for tumors and trauma, and has decades of experience in intraventricular and anterior cranial base endoscopic surgery.

tell people that theirs emergency right away when it happens then instead 30 or 40 miss after you been waiting that long with more waiting to come

We were very late but were allowed to stay . We were told 10 mins to see dr. But it was about 45 . It was worth it ! ! !

Dr Turtz is literally the best doctor. I look forward to seeing him every year and he always makes me laugh. I feel heard and understood and he is always willing to explain things thoroughly.
