About Me

Cody B. Clinton, DO, is a primary care sports medicine physician within the Cooper Bone & Joint Institute. He completed his sports medicine fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and the Rothman Institute, where he was fortunate to help take care of the Philadelphia Phillies. As a strong advocate of medical education, Dr. Clinton takes pride being an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University where he educates and mentors medical students. He is currently assistant team physician for Rowan University and Rutgers University-Camden. He also provides care for numerous high schools within the local area.

Dr. Clinton sees patients ages three years and older at several offices across southern New Jersey. His main goal with every patient visit is to treat each patient with dignity and respect, as if he were giving care to his own family. Dr. Clinton strives to provide accurate diagnoses and he takes pride in suggesting preventative strategies to ensure injuries do not re-occur. In addition to treating common orthopedic injuries, he has specialized training in concussion management, ultrasound guided treatments, hands-on osteopathic manipulative medicine, regenerative therapies such as platelet rich plasma injections, and minimally invasive surgeries for tendinosis.

This was my first visit with Dr. Cody Clinton and it was great. He was very humble and caring. He helped me to finally elevate the pain in my right knee that I've been dealing with for over 5 months. He is certainly my go to Sports Med Doctor from now on.

Not to the fault of Dr. Clinton, but it was extremely difficult to schedule a PRP injection. I called many times to schedule and was told they need to send a message to the office and someone would call by EOD. After [Date] times, I emailed the doctor and finally got it scheduled. However, I never got a call about the appointment or the prep required (no Advil for a week prior, etc.). The only way I found out about it was I received a bill from the portal and saw it online. Dr. Clinton is an awesome provider but his office support teams needs improvement.

I have no complaints with Dr. Clinton, he is great! There was a staff member(tech, I think), who was very "cold" towards me, talked to me as if I was a bother and stupid when I asked questions. I, myself am a nurse and I've never treated a patient the way I was treated at tgat appointment. Once again, Dr. Clinton was great. But one staff member of his, is not!
