Pediatric Surgery
Our Pediatric Surgery team includes surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other subspecialists specially trained to provide the highest caliber of services to diagnose, treat, and provide follow-up care for children who have surgical needs. Our board-certified and nationally recognized surgeons have the expertise to perform a full range of surgical procedures on children of all ages, including newborns.
Pediatric Gastroenterology
Cooper’s specialists in Pediatric Gastroenterology diagnose and offer treatment options for a full range of gastrointestinal disorders, including chronic diarrhea, constipation, Crohn’s disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and gastroesophageal reflux disease, among others. We have the expertise to diagnose and treat many different gastrointestinal disorders in children of all ages.
General Pediatrics
The board-certified general pediatricians at Cooper Health specialize in the primary care and preventative care of infants, children, and adolescents. Family-centered and inclusive health care that looks at each patient as a whole is the cornerstone of Cooper’s General Pediatrics services, and our board-certified pediatricians offer primary care for children from birth to 18 years of age in five offices throughout South Jersey. Each physician at the Children's Regional Hospital has completed pediatric training in programs that have been reviewed and accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) at the approval of the Review Committee for Pediatrics (RC). In addition to diagnosing and treating illnesses as primary care physicians, our experts provide distinctive care for children who have chronic diseases or specials health needs.
Pediatric Cardiology
Pediatric Cardiology specialists at Cooper provide state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment options for acquired and congenital heart conditions in infants, children and adolescents. Our board-certified experts are among the area’s best in providing comprehensive treatments for heart-related disorders like murmurs, chest pain, abnormal heart rhythms and other cardiac conditions.
Pediatric Endocrinology
Cooper’s Pediatric Endocrinology services address a variety of endocrine-and hormone-related disorders, including diabetes; growth and puberty issues; and thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary diseases, among others. Our board-certified pediatric endocrinologists offer comprehensive evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment options for endocrine-related disorders as well as an array of specialty services.
Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
The services provided by Cooper’s Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialists work with children who have physical impairments or disabilities to restore function and enhance quality of life. Conditions we treat include cerebral palsy, concussion, post-trauma (including school re-entry) and torticollis. Our expertise in improving strength, motor skills, coordination, balance, and endurance helps your child achieve their full potential.
Pediatric Infectious Disease
Cooper’s specialists in Pediatric Infectious Diseases diagnose and evaluate infections in children caused by bacteria, viruses, and other organisms. Our specialists also treat persistent and rare diseases caused by infectious agents as well as an array of complicated or atypical diseases, including bone and joint infections, tuberculosis and hepatitis. Our state-designated Pediatric HIV Treatment Program provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for affected families.
Pediatric Hematology
Our team of experts in Pediatric Hematology provides comprehensive services to treat and a variety of blood conditions and disorders, including anemias, sickle cell disease, blood and platelet disorders, thrombocytopenia, thalassemia, hemophilia and bleeding disorders, and Von Willebrand’s disease, among others.
