What Sets Our Breast Imaging Centers Apart

Expertise. Research shows that where you get your mammogram makes a difference and that a mammogram is only as good as the radiologist who reads it. Our team includes imagers who specialize in breast imaging.

Excellence. Our Breast Imaging Centers have been designated Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence by the American College of Radiology . The accreditation shows that the breast imaging centers meet the highest standards of the radiology profession. A Center of Excellence designation is awarded to breast imaging centers that have demonstrated excellence in breast imaging by achieving accreditation in mammography, breast ultrasound, and ultrasound-guided biopsy and stereotactic breast biopsy.

Care. Few mammography centers anywhere offer both the skill and gentle touch of our team of breast imaging technologists. Our technologists make every effort to minimize discomfort and inconvenience and ensure a clear, accurate image on the first image capture.

Responsiveness. The results of your imaging study are reported to you and your ordering physician within days. If there is a problem, patients are contacted by phone or mail to have diagnostic studies scheduled. After a diagnostic study, a breast imager will immediately discuss the findings with you, and if additional tests (such as needle biopsy) are necessary they will be scheduled before you leave the center. Referring physicians are contacted with the results and the breast imager’s recommendations.

Convenience. We offer several convenient breast imaging locations so you can get the care you need close to home.
