Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional is Cooper University Health Care's anchor hospital at the Jersey Cape. This 229-bed hospital is home to the Claire C. Brodesser Ambulatory Surgery Center and an MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper Radiation Oncology Suite.

Billing and Insurance

| Adult Inpatient Units | 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., 7 days a week. Two visitors |
| Emergency Department | Two visitors are permitted at a time. Visitors may be issued visitor identification sticker. Circumstances may require visitors to be asked to go to the waiting room. Visitors may return to the treatment area when notified. The family of critically ill or deceased patients may be escorted to a private area. |
| End of Life | Up to two visitors at bedside at the same time. Visitors may switch throughout the day. |
| Pediatrics | Two parents or guardians may visit at the same time. Visitation is unrestricted. |

Located in Cape May Court House, our modern facility offers a comforting and convenient experience for patients, families and visitors alike.
Secure and friendly welcome
All guests check in through our enhanced Green Security Pass system, which scans a driver’s license or state-issued ID. This ensures a safe and smooth experience from the moment you arrive.
Meals and refreshments
The cafeteria is open weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering hot entrees, salads, soups, vegetables, deli items and desserts.
Vending machines are conveniently located near the ER waiting area, east lobby and cafeteria.
Gift shop and flowers
The Cooper Cape gift shop is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (closed Saturdays). It offers snacks, cards, candy, gifts and personal items.
Flower services are available through Cape Winds Florist. Call 609.884.1865 to place your order.

Our non-denominational chapel, located near the gift shop and main entrance, is open for peaceful reflection and prayer.

The interfaith Chaplains and Pastoral Care volunteers at Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional offer spiritual and emotional support to you and your family during your hospitalization. Prayer, bibles and sacramental ministry services are available to you upon request—just ask your nurse or caregiver. Clergy will be guided by your spiritual preferences.
Pastoral Care Services are available by video chat. Please contact your attending nurse to make arrangements or call your local church or parish.
Please feel free to call 856.342.2432 to request a Pastoral Care visit. At all other times, or in the event that the Department of Patient Relations cannot be reached, please contact the Nursing Supervisor at 609.463.2688.
Our Interfaith Chapel is a quiet and serene place to visit when you need to gather your thoughts, pray or meditate. Located near the Gift Shop in the main entrance of the hospital, the Interfaith Chapel is easily and conveniently accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional hosts a Sharps & Needle Disposal Program for the Cape May County community. Please review the information below for instructions and frequently asked questions.
No appointment is needed to drop off sharps.
All full containers may be delivered to the South Lobby and also empty containers may be obtained here. Please report to the Security desk.
Drop-off sharps containers must be sealed. We will not accept any sharps unless in the proper sealed containers. We thank you for your cooperation.
The program operates Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
