Mr. Winkler joined Bain Capital in 2019 as an Executive Vice President. In 2023, he was named as a Managing Director in the Portfolio Group and a member of the North American Private Equity team. 

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Winkler was the Chief Financial Officer at Bodytech, one of the largest fitness companies in Latin America, from 2014 to 2019. Mr. Winkler was a Senior Vice President for Growth and Development at Cooper University Health Care from 2011 to 2014. He previously worked at McKinsey & Company from 2007 to 2011. Earlier in his career, Mr. Winkler was a diplomat in the United States Foreign Service, specializing in Economics, during which time he served in United States Embassies in China and Colombia. 

Mr. Winkler possesses a master's in business administration from Harvard Business School, a master's in American studies from the College of William & Mary, and a bachelor's in comparative literature from Northwestern University. He resides in Princeton, New Jersey, with his wife and daughter.
