The Division of Thoracic Surgery at Cooper University Health Care is Southern New Jersey’s leader in the treatment of diseases of the lungs and chest. Our providers specialize in non-cardiac thoracic diseases and disorders.

When appropriate, we use minimally invasive surgical techniques, including robotic surgery. In addition to the surgeon, the nursing staff in the operating room specializes in thoracic procedures. Our anesthesiologists have trained specifically in the field of chest anesthesia.
You can feel confident knowing that you will be taken care of on a floor with nurses, physical therapists, and respiratory therapists who all have training and special interest in the thoracic surgery patient.
