Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)

The spinal cord is a bundle of nerves that carries incoming and outgoing messages between your brain and the rest of your body. When the spinal cord is injured, it can cause a bruise, a partial tear, or a complete tear (transection) in the spinal cord.

Spinal Deformity

A spinal deformity is when there’s an unnatural curvature in the spine, either side-to-side or front-to-back.

Spinal Fusion

Spinal fusion is surgery to permanently join together two bones (vertebrae) in the spine, eliminating motion between them.
