Dr. Leuzzi sets the standard for quality care. She initiated the appt realizing that I had not been in for my annual check up. The timing was perfect, as I have been complaining about stomach pain to gastroenterology and unable to get a time sensitive appt. When asked, GI indicated they do not have sick appts. Something is wrong with that. Dr. Leuzzi gave me a thorough exam, had bloodwork ordered. She also ordered an ultrasound that has resulted in the radiology recommendation for an MRI. Dr. Leuzzi and the staff clearly prioritize the patient. I have had follow up calls about the mri appt is made, even though I am using SJR since Cooper could not see me for over a month. Their support has been valuable as I navigate discerning what is going on.

Dr.Leuzzi has been my PCP for 17 years. She is EXCELLENT. However, the whole practice needs help. Too few Dr's; very hard to get timely appointment with YOUR PCP. There should be a way to call THIS practice and speak to someone there without being shunted to some centralized answering service. There have been times I considered making a change because when I need to see my PCP, I want to see HER, not some stand in. Very frustrating and not at all patient centric.
