Pricing and Transparency

Costs for Common Procedures

Thank you for choosing Cooper University Health Care.

Our goal is to provide meaningful and reliable information to help you understand prices in advance of your procedure. We have put together the top inpatient and outpatient procedure costs by region for both self-pay individuals and those with insurance to give you an estimate of the expected pricing for commonly provided health care services at Cooper.

Actual prices on your final bill may vary from this information based on the particular hospital/clinic providing the services, the patient’s medical condition, unknown circumstances or complications, final diagnosis, and recommended treatment ordered by the attending physician(s). Please be advised that while the hospital/clinic attempts to estimate the prices of care as accurately as possible, there may be significant variations between the prices listed and the actual price reflected on your final bill.

Chargemaster Machine Readable File

The file at the link below contain Cooper’s chargemaster (a list of prices for the numerous health products and services available at Cooper), which is posted in compliance with federal regulations.

The chargemaster, however, is not a tool to help you determine your out-of-pocket health care costs, nor is it a list of prices most patients pay.

If you have health insurance accepted at Cooper, we have negotiated prices with your health insurance company. Therefore, your particular health insurance policy will determine what your out-of-pocket costs will be for a given service. Similarly, Medicare and Medicaid pay set prices to Cooper for patients with these coverages.

Cooper also provides financial assistance for eligible patients who are uninsured or underinsured.

To determine your actual out-of-pocket health care costs, we recommend you contact your health insurance company or call Cooper’s Financial Service Representatives, who will be happy to answer your questions, at one of the numbers below:

  • If you have insurance: 856.342.3343
  • If you do not have insurance: 856.356.4882

Thank you, again, for choosing Cooper University Health Care.
