Joseph M. Montella, MD, MS, CPE

Joseph Montella, MD, MS, CPE, serves as Chief Medical Officer at Cooper University Health Care. He focuses on issues surrounding outcomes and quality and leads Cooper's efforts to improve the clinical pathways and value of care provided to patients. A graduate of Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Montella trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and completed a fellowship in Cooper's Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. In addition, Dr. Montella is a certified physician executive and holds a master's degree in Healthcare Quality and Safety from the Jefferson College of Population Health.
