About Me

Dr. Cancell has been in practice for 27 years and is a faculty member in the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University at the rank of Instructor.  As such, he is instrumentally involved in the training and education of medical students and podiatric resident physicians. 

Dr. Cancell completed his undergraduate education at Farleigh Dickinson University and earned his medical doctorate from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York.  He then completed his podiatric residency at New York College of Podiatric Medicine Affiliated Hospitals and Institutions.  He is certified in Foot Surgery American Board Podiatric Surgery. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American College of Podiatric Orthopaedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine and he is the Past President of the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society.

This was my first visit so I was a little nervous as I was with my previous podiatrist for many years. My insurance changed so I had to find a new doctor. So far I am very pleased with everyone I made contact with at the office.
