Dr. Valenti joined Cooper University Health Care in 1998. During her tenure, she has served in a variety of roles including staff nurse in the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology laboratories before transitioning into nurse leadership roles in the heart institute, patient care services, ambulatory operations, and currently, oncology services.

Dr. Valenti believes that staff, advanced practice provider, and physician empowerment are key drivers to the success of a healthcare organization. As a certified Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt Specialist, she has worked to hardwire change management and Lean Six Sigma tools to drive quality, growth, financial accountability, engagement, and experience in the many strategic imperatives she has led. She has presented at national nursing and Medical Group Management Association conferences and is a published author of several peer-reviewed articles and a book published by Lippincott on critical care nursing. She was also recognized as a NJBiz Health Care Hero in 2022.

Dr. Valenti is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society. She earned her Doctor of Health Care Administration from Walden University; Master of Science in Nursing, Master of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix; and Diploma in Nursing from the Episcopal School of Nursing in Philadelphia, PA. She is a certified critical care nurse, certified electrophysiology specialist, and certified cardiac device specialist.
