The specialists at the Barrett’s Esophagus Center are pioneers in radiofrequency ablation, performing among the highest number of procedures of any health system in the country, and are among the few providers offering cryotherapy as a treatment option.

GI Bleeding Center

At the GI Bleeding Center, our world-renowned experts provide patients with traditional colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures and are among the leaders in their field in therapeutic endoscopic approaches to access the small intestine. We use the double balloon enteroscopy procedure to examine the entire small intestine to find the source of a GI bleed. The Cooper GI Bleeding Center is the only center in South Jersey that uses double balloon technology and has two nationally recognized experts in this balloon-assisted enteroscopy technique.

  • Cryotherapy to destroy precancerous tissue in the esophagus that occurs with Barrett’s esophagus
