When a vascular emergency happens, fast, expert response and precise treatment are imperative for a good outcome.
Fortunately, Cooper University Health Care is home to the region’s only Level One Vascular Emergency Program. More than 8,000 patients are transferred to Cooper every year. Through this highly efficient program, patients with urgent vascular problems can be transferred to Cooper University Hospital by helicopter or ambulance from any hospital within a 100-mile radius. All it takes is a single phone call.
Once here, patients are treated by our team of world-renowned vascular surgeons, backed by a remarkable array of resources and the most advanced technology that modern surgery has to offer.
