Dr. Franziska Jovin joined Cooper University Health Care in July 2019. She earned her medical degree from Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, Germany, in 1994, and completed her internal medicine residency and chief medical resident year at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia in 2000. She later pursued a Master’s in Medical Management from Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University, along with a certificate in health care delivery improvement from the Intermountain Advanced Training Program.

Dr. Jovin serves as Chief Experience Officer and Senior Vice President for Patient Access and Ambulatory Services at Cooper. She is also the Medical Director of the Cooper Program for Patients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and holds an academic appointment as Associate Professor of Medicine at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.

Her leadership and innovation in patient experience have earned national recognition:

  • Named one of Becker’s “50 CXOs to Know” in 2023.
  • Selected as a finalist by Women We Admire in 2025 for her impact on health care delivery in New Jersey.
