Program Overview
The Cooper Hospital Medicine APP Fellowship is a 12-month, postgraduate training program for acute care nurse practitioners and physician assistants who are new to practice or have less than one year of experience.
Our mission is to bridge the transition from training to independent practice by providing structured mentorship, hands-on clinical experience, and professional development in a supportive, collaborative academic environment. Fellows graduate with the skills and confidence needed to excel as hospital medicine providers.

Application Timeline
We are currently accepting applications for 2026 fellows. The application deadline is February 28, 2026. We will reach out to selected candidates shortly after the deadline to schedule interviews. We are looking to fill two fellowship positions, with final decisions expected by the end of March 2026.
