Application Process for Clinical Placement
Our clinical placement application process consists of these simple steps:
- Verify Affiliation Agreement: Ensure your school has an affiliation agreement with us. Click here to view list.
- Submit Clinical Placement Request: Clinical Rotation Site Assignment Request
- Application Review: The APP Student Coordinator reviews all applications.
- Confirmation and Next Steps: You will receive a confirmation email from the APP Student Coordinator with further instructions.
Requests are accepted up to one year in advance of the clinical rotation start date. Please note that submitting a request does not guarantee clinical placement.

APP Student Preceptors
We are delighted to introduce a Clinical Rotation Matching System designed with your needs in mind — students, preceptors, and clinical sites alike.
Our goal is simple: to make the process of matching students with specialties, shift times, and locations as seamless, transparent, and mutually beneficial as possible.

Your leadership team will review your request. Once approved, the student placement team will coordinate a match based on your specialty, schedule, and location.
With this updated process, we aim to:
· Minimize mismatches in specialty or scheduling
· Reduce administrative burden so you can focus on teaching
· Promote more consistency, fairness, and predictability in student assignments
· Track the amazing work of our current preceptors and gather data that will help shape the future of Advance Practice Provider educators.
